    On 28.01.2022, the III International applied research conference “Human resource management within the framework of realisation of national development goals and strategic objectives” finished its work. The conference was initiated and organised by the Institute of Economics and Entrepreneurship of the National Research Lobachevsky State University of Nizhny Novgorod and the Public Committee for Human Resources under the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Nizhny Novgorod Region.

    The conference was attended by over 250 participants, including scientists from 11 countries: Germany, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Poland, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan.

    The faculty of the higher educational institutions was represented by scientists from 12 cities of friendly countries: Gdansk, Minsk, Slutsk, Cologne, Grodno, Kostanay, Vitebsk, Erfurt, Tashkent, Mogilev, Shanghai, Astana, as well as scientists from leading universities of 16 cities of Russia: Vladikavkaz, Vladimir, Volgograd, Voronezh, Kaliningrad, Kurgan, Lipetsk, Maykop, Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Novorossiysk, Rostov-on-Don, Samara, Surgut, Tambov and Cheboksary.

    The conference was attended by scientists from 14 institutions of higher education of Moscow as well as 8 universities of Nizhny Novgorod: by scientists, HR directors, managers for development of small and medium-size business and other representatives of business structures, as well as the partners of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Nizhny Novgorod Region representing over 30 organisations.

    The process of discussing topical issues brought together a number of representatives of state and municipal authorities, as well as student representatives.

    The conference raised a set of theoretical and practical issues of human resource management, in order to ensure the realisation of the national goals and strategic objectives of socio-economic development.

    The conference work was organised in five sections:

    • Innovation and integration processes of human resource management within the framework of realisation of the national goals and strategic development tasks
    • Economic stability and sustainable growth of people’s life quality in the conditions of transformation of human resource management processes in the international and Russian practice
    • Modern mechanisms and technologies of human capital management in the conditions of realisation of the national goals and digitalisation of the society
    • Topical issues of realisation of human potential as a national public wealth, a source of innovative development and economic security
    • Impact of national cultures on human capital management in the process of innovative development

    Owing to the coordinated work of the organising committee and the rapporteurs, the Conference succeeded in finding solutions to many complex scientific issues and dilemmas.

    The International Scientific Conference “Sustainable and Innovative Development in the Global Digital Age” was held on May 19-21, 2022, organized by the Southern Federal University, with the participation of professors and scientists from the Russian Federation and 6 other countries – Belarus, China, Serbia, Slovakia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan.

    The purpose of the conference was to discuss the importance of using information technology to promote and improve economic development. The scientific agenda of the conference concerned the search for optimal mechanisms, technologies and directions aimed at improving the operational and project activities of modern organizations. This reflected the need to find new methods in the field of process, production and project management, as well as improving operational efficiency and digitalization of management systems.

    All these issues are important not only from the point of view of fundamental science, but also in practical terms, as well as for determining priority areas in the educational process.

    The conference aroused great interest in the scientific community and gathered more than 200 foreign and Russian participants on discussion platforms in the format of face-to-face and remote participation. The participants of the conference noted that its results are significant and valuable for the development of world and Russian science and economy.

     

  • "The Caspian in the Digital Age" within the framework of the International Scientific Forum "Caspian 2021: Ways of Sustainable Development"

    On May 27, 2021, the Government of the Astrakhan region together with partner universities of the Consortium of Higher Education Institutions and Scientific Organizations of the Astrakhan region held the National conference with international participation "The Caspian in the Digital Age" within the framework of the International Scientific Forum "Caspian 2021: Ways of Sustainable Development". The sections of this conference received the status of international discussion platforms, where the issues of strengthening Russia's position in the Caspian Sea, achieving national objectives for accelerated economic growth, scientific and innovative development, export of Russian education to the Caspian countries, as well as the retention of talented young people in the geostrategic region were discussed.

    The conference brought together over 400 scientists and academics from higher education institutions of the Caspian countries. The geography of the conference was widely represented by scientists from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Canada as well as from Russian cities: Astrakhan, Elista, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Volgograd, Krasnodar, Simferopol.

    Among scientists who were included into Organizing and Program Committees, it is necessary to mention Abbasov Ali Magomedovich — Professor of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, Mostaf Rostami — Professor of Mazdaran University of Islamic Republic of Iran, Asylbek Shahmuratovich Kanbetov — Professor, Director of Caspian Research Institute of Atyrau Oil and Gas University named after S. Utebayev, A.A. Abbasov — Professor of Russian Academy of Sciences, V.A. Dukhovny — Director of the Caspian Institute of Science of Azerbaijan, Amir Elekpour Estalaki — Professor, Department of Hydraulic Engineering, Gilan University of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Badma Katinovich Salaev — Rector of the Kalmyk State University named after B.B. Gorodovikov of the Republic of Kalmykia.

    The conference comprised of 5 sections and focused on discussing and finding solutions to the most important issues and challenges facing the Caspian Sea region.

    Participants of the event managed to identify main issues on environmental, socio-political, national, and cultural security of the Caspian region, as well as financial cybersecurity, development of agro-industrial and fishery complexes, personnel training, creation of safe food space, and prospects of international transport corridor "North-South" development. In addition, optimal ways of solving these problems using the scientific and educational potential of the Caspian macro-region were outlined.
